Welcome to COBS.....Canterbury Old Boys Senate

This is an association of former players within the Club whose purpose is to organise social and other events to raise money for capital expenditure and enhancement of facilities for the Club, especially those considered to fall outside normal maintenance. Such facilities, for example, has been the spectators stand which now needs a platform to lift it up 1 metre for enhanced viewing of the pitch, and possibly a bar retreat for older supporters.  Successful events, so far, have included Wine & Wisdom evenings, Xmas Family quizzes, Sweepstakes, Half-time raffles.  Any member of the Club, especially former players, is welcome to join the section, suggest events and/or projects that could be undertaken and progress the development of the Club and, of course, have a captive audience when waxing lyrical about their former playing achievements.  Come and join us by contacting terrygrayson@supanet.com
