Directions to Canterbury RFC
Car From London
- From the A2 (Dover-bound), take the exit sign for Canterbury.
- Coming into the city, take the second exit on the first three roundabouts you encounter (following the signs for Dover).
- At the fourth roundabout (by the police station) take the third exit which is the Old Dover Road.
- Proceed straight over the first set of traffic lights (by the Cross Keys pub)
- Carry straight on over the second set of lights (by the Kent Cricket Ground).
- At the third set of traffic lights turn right into Nackington Road. The turn is signed the B2068.
- After about a mile down Nackington Road, turn right into Merton Lane (North), there is a sign for the club. DON'T cross over the by-pass.
Car From Dover
- From the A2 (London-bound), take the exit sign for Canterbury.
- At the first roundabout you encounter, take the second exit (bearing slightly left) down the Old Dover Road.
- At the first set of traffic lights turn left into Nackington Road (if you go passed Kent Cricket Ground you've gone too far). The turn is signed the B2068.
- After about a mile down Nackington Road, turn right into Merton Lane (North), there is a sign for the club. DON'T cross over the by-pass.
Train
- Canterbury is served by two train stations, Canterbury East and Canterbury West. A taxi is probably the best option from either as both stations are some distance from Merton Lane and buses are infrequent.
